🚨 Un enfant de 13 ans fait l’objet de poursuites administratives en Russie pour « propagande LGBT » et « démonstration de symboles extrémistes ». Il aurait simplement montré une image ou une vidéo évoquant les personnes LGBT à d’autres élèves. Et des parents ont aussitôt alerté les autorités.

Deux accusations ont été retenues contre lui : la « propagande de relations sexuelles non traditionnelles » et la « démonstration de symboles extrémistes ». Pourtant, la loi russe prévoit qu’un mineur de moins de 16 ans ne peut pas être tenu responsable dans ce type de procédure.

Le dossier a donc été transmis à une commission des mineurs. Résultat : un avertissement… mais aussi la possibilité d’un placement en établissement fermé 🏫 Un internat disciplinaire. À 13 ans.

Bon élève, sans antécédent, il serait aujourd’hui inscrit dans un suivi des mineurs.

This research by Queen Mary University of London should be a wake up call for the UK government and judicial institutions:

286 political prisoners in Britain, held in relation to their activism for Palestinian rights or against fossil fuel.

Prison sentences for acts of direct action or civil disobedience (which were once rare) are now being imposed with increasing length and frequency.

Iranian authorities are recklessly putting the life of human rights defender Narges Mohammadi at risk by subjecting her to torture or other ill-treatment through deliberate denial of timely and adequate specialized healthcare.

She had a heart attack on 24 March 2026 in Zanjan prison, Zanjan province, and has suffered from chest pain, blood pressure fluctuations, severe headaches, dizziness, nausea and double vision since her unjust imprisonment in December 2025. Despite this, authorities are denying her the urgent specialized medical treatment she requires in a hospital outside prison in Tehran.

Marges Mohammadi is a prisoner of conscience. She must be released now!

Urgent Update: Narges Mohammadi remains in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) of a hospital in Zanjan. Her blood pressure continues to fluctuate critically, yet she has not been transferred to Tehran for the necessary medical treatment.

It must be emphasized that the medical actions taken over the past three days have been temporary attempts to stabilize her heart rate and blood pressure through oxygen therapy; this does not constitute a comprehensive treatment process.

Effective treatment for Narges Mohammadi’s conditions is only possible if she is transferred to her medical team in Tehran. There, she must undergo essential testing and, if necessary, a fourth angiography so that her condition can be accurately assessed based on her medical history and a proper treatment plan can begin.

The authorities of the Islamic Republic bear full responsibility for the life of the Iranian Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

Narges Mohammadi and all political and ideological prisoners must be released immediately and unconditionally.

Santa Marta conference unlocked historic political momentum for just fossil fuel phase out.

Jointly convened by the governments of Colombia and the Netherlands, the conference brought together representatives from 57 fossil fuel producing and consuming countries, alongside parliamentarians, academics, trade unions, civil society organisations, and representatives of Indigenous Peoples, Afro‑descendant communities, children and youth movements and peasant communities, among others.

@amnesty was there! We very much welcome this space of multilateral resistance, breaking with paralysed and fossil-fuel-industry captured COP.

The current Middle East crisis demonstrates very well why fossil fuel phase out must be prioritized to turn our back on the chaos and existential risks of fossil fuel global politics

Santa Marta showed there is political appetite for states to defossilize the global economy and embark in just transitions.

That momentum must now translate into concrete action rooted in human rights.

As governments prepare for the next steps, Amnesty International urges them to move beyond dialogue and pave the way for the adoption of a Fossil Fuel Treaty.
