I saw a post on Reddit that said that “The underlying purpose of AI is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth.” And I don’t think I’ve ever seen AI described so incisively.

@Alonso_GD Dial meters are terrible and it's very good they're being phased out. They are really difficult to read correctly and people often end up being billed very wrongly if they try to provide readings in addition to meter reader readings

@Bellhookschild 100%! Foil does actually work, have used it in a heatwave on the continent before, but you have to be really careful you don't blind neighbours etc. with it and can't do it on every window. It's not a panacea.

@PaperWhispers You really do need to be careful -- I was using the fitbit app and now they've turned into google so I'm going back to Flo... I could do it in a calendar but it's so good to be able to see how erratic or not things are getting. I end up losing track with a calendar these days :(
