@whiskeyweirdpod Same! My research focuses on the interplay between science and the supernatural in Victorian fiction (I loved season 3 on Promethean horror!). The occult detective - the symbol of reason who interacts with the supernatural - is perfect in this regard, so I can’t wait!

@GothicAcademic I can really recommend the audiobook of Babel by R.F. Kuang! Perfect mix of historical fantasy, dark academia, and a language/etymology-based magic system.
