I am Canadian 🇨🇦
Fiercely apologetic. Politely patriotic.
I keep a spare toque in my car like some people keep jumper cables.
I don’t trust a warm day in March.
Warm heart. Frozen everything else.
This one says it better than I ever could. Not sorry.

Even with Trump's outrageous promise of $5K checks to everyone, the Dems are still predicted to take the Senate.
Congress is going to look good in Blue! 🔥
Today is the 6th anniversary of Trump inviting the Taliban to Camp David to surrender America in a deal, opposed by the Afghan government, that freed 5000 imprisoned Taliban fighters which led directly to their retaking control of Kabul and killing 13 US service members.
I am grateful to Canada for our energy arrangements – this is important. We have concrete arrangements in the energy sector that will strengthen us both ahead of this winter and over the longer term.
Canada is also ready to support our Ukrainian veterans. A Veterans Fund will be established, and I am grateful to Canada for its contribution to this fund – $40 million – which will support our programs for veterans.
From the press conference with Mark Carney. (2/3)
25 years ago, on a clear September morning, an otherwise ordinary day became one of history’s darkest.
Through the darkness, we also saw the best of humanity.
This is a genius move by Carney helps Ukraine and gives us a weapon that can take out tanks, ships, planes and infrastructure of any war-mongering country that would dare to cross our border with malicious intent.
@MarilynMapleX@ConHarMcD@IIKnowIDont Fighting the good fight!
Also feeling gratitude today for my Canadian family that helped to protect American citizens during 9/11! Canadians have always helped and protected Americans and we will never forget that.
Our relationship will be stronger after the Trump regime dies.
Gaslighting 101.
Pete Hoekstra tells Canadian politicians to “take the tenor down.”
Reporter: Would you say the same thing to the president?
Hoekstra: “We’re here to talk about 9/11.”
Funny how the lecture on political rhetoric suddenly ends when Donald Trump’s rhetoric comes up.
Pete Hoekstra is no friend of Canada.
Ask him a hard question and watch the “strongman” routine collapse into playground bullying.
Especially when the reporter is a woman who won’t flatter him, fear him, or back down.
That isn’t strength.
That isn’t leadership.
It’s intimidation with a presidential seal.

Life always finds the balance.
You can walk through the world dripping hate and venom, poison every room you enter, twist every story, and still tell yourself you’re winning.
You’re not.
That energy doesn’t stay with the people you throw it at. It comes home. Quietly. Relentlessly. In the relationships that dry up, the peace you can’t keep, the nights that get longer, the version of yourself you start to recognize and hate.
Some people are already reaping it. Some just haven’t looked in the mirror yet.
You don’t have to announce it. You don’t have to chase it. You don’t even have to believe in it.
Life keeps the books.
Walk clean. Speak true. Let the rest sort itself.
