@TyTribble@w_abcedcba@SleeperMariners you missed the point of the tweet. skubal did his part, his offense did not. if tigers score even 4 runs for him each time, he wins all those games. tigers felix'd him twice.
@saz_theman i agree. i think a bat(s) and a top end reliever is more of a necessity than a SP. if they were to go all out like that i'd rather it be on a skubal equivalent hitter
@a_hellwich@BGilli77@MojoMariner m's would need actual depth, which is veteran arms, not bank on a couple rookies if injuries happen.
also, there's no such thing as a logjam for starters. you can never have enough starting pitching. (2)
@a_hellwich@BGilli77 anderson and sloans innings cap. you don't want them exceeding it too much this year and risk a potential injury. that's why there's been talk of anderson coming out of the bullpen later this season. as for sloan, he just isn't ready yet. (1)
@ADabbingPenguin@MLB@MiLBMariners@Mariners lol mitch ain't going anywhere. it'll either be pereda to minors or refsnyder dfa'd. or maybe an injury happens and it'll just be whoever to the IL
