🚨Official Statement from @HLiquity_ regarding the recent hack suffered by @SirioFinance.

We deeply regret the recent security incidents affecting @SirioFinance . At @HLiquity_ , we stand in solidarity with the affected community and reaffirm our commitment to security and trust within the #DeFi ecosystem.

1. Monitoring the Situation: We are closely following @SirioFinance’s investigation to fully understand the exploited vulnerabilities. This will help us reinforce our own security measures and prevent similar risks across the ecosystem.

2. Immutable and Proven Security: HLiquity operates with immutable, governance-free smart contracts. These contracts cannot be altered, ensuring transparency and reliability. Additionally, HLiquity underwent a comprehensive security audit by Omniscia and has been live since June 5, 2024, without any security issues.

3. Why HLiquity Is Resilient to Similar Attacks:
   ☑️ No Lending Pools: HLiquity does not operate lending pools where multiple assets can be borrowed. Borrowing is limited to #HCHF (a stablecoin pegged to the Swiss Franc) against $HBAR collateral.
   ☑️Over-Collateralization Enforcement: A minimum collateral ratio of 110% is required, and liquidations are triggered automatically if this ratio drops too low.
   ☑️Stability Pool Mechanism: Liquidations are handled through the Stability Pool, which ensures undercollateralized loans are repaid without relying on external lending logic.
   ☑️While flash loans could theoretically be used for arbitrage or liquidation strategies, the specific vulnerabilities exploited in the @SirioFinance attack (e.g., fake collateral supply or faulty lending logic) do not apply to @HLiquity_'s model.

4. Collaboration & Transparency: We firmly believe that #DeFi security is a collective effort. We are committed to sharing insights and collaborating with other protocols to enhance @hedera´s ecosystem resilience.

5. Confidence in the Ecosystem: Hedera remains a strong and secure network due to its advanced technology and active community. Incidents like these highlight the importance of working together to build a safer environment.
