@marysdesk highlighted the challenge of finding not the topic of a production or story, but what the question is and who to talk to about that specific question.

When it comes to interviews, she added you need to figure out who you are before any interview.

@tguaimano’20 emphasized the importance of students taking chances to get noteworthy experiences. She got the necessary “chops” of journalism from her Marist career.
