@msimpson32 sorry! never my intention! the president can veto a War Powers resolution, so without a 2/3 majority this is symbolic. Maybe potent politically, but symbolic.
NEW: 4 Republicans just joined all Democrats to pass an Iran War Powers Resolution and put an end to this reckless, illegal war. I urge my colleagues in the Senate to pass this swiftly. Ending this war is a moral imperative.
@robyndanielle12 I have lots of answers to this. What would you have said in June 2022 if Biden had diverted money from National Parks to clean up DC fountains? (Don’t bother answering, I know.)
I'm pleased to invite @Wemby to our second Commission on Government Efficiency hearing on Wednesday June 10th 5-8pm, where we'll be asking the public for their thoughts on how government can run better. Would love to have you there for the whole time!
Want to understand the dynamics - and economics -at play in the Strait of Hormuz? This is a terrific explainer from @Rory_Johnston and it's unlocked for reading/sharing. 🔓

@senatorshoshana@zapier it was pretty weird. it said "well but if you cancel your A, then we also have to cancel your B, which you currently get for free." Me: No. I pay hundreds of dollars a year for that. Agent: "You're right. That's for pointing that out."
I don't care that the AI customer service is soulless, I care that it lied to me about my account to keep me from canceling, and when I corrected it, it replied: "You're right, thanks for pointing that out."
