@TonyNatif@AsiimweDicta I dont think a research if at all there is any, should be limited to bunyangabu! Five years ago I lost my dad to cancer and about 5 more relatives have since passed on with different types of cancers and ofcourse a few more people known to me. Something seems really off.
@AsinjyaEdwin@BenonGowa Its funny how you blame opposition of negating on their role in the fight against corruption as if you dont stay in uganda,it is even worse when you possess an LLB . You want to say you dont know any reports made my opposition that have not been acted upon authorities?

But before we decide on which side of the saga to side with,
What is the cause of all this between @mkainerugaba and the @paceidug
Is it really a matter to do with national concern?, or it’s merely personal beef between the son and the head of the Holy Spirit’ family?
Therefore, as we decide on which side to stand, I hope you won’t all be fooled to be in a family conflict that takes us no where
And I also hope we all don’t fall for political stunts however much we support these people
Dear Patience Rwabwogo Museveni, congratulations on your consecration as Bishop. You are, as far as I know and admittedly with little concern for your family's ecclesiastical inventory, the first person in the family to acquire such an honour, assuming that the title is not as cosmetic as your brother's rank of Army General. I must confess that I know little about theological hierarchies and the ecclesiastical arithmetic by which one ascends to such a title, so I cannot competently pronounce myself on the standards by which the mitre eventually landed on your head. But now that you are a Bishop, with that magnificent crozier in your hand and the mitre sitting authoritatively over your head, perhaps charity should begin at the State House Entebbe.
Can you use that shepherd's staff to beat away the demons of your father's rule over Ugandans? Can you use your newly acquired ecclesiastical authority to confront your brother's conduct towards fellow citizens? Many Ugandans have languished in prisons, torture chambers and basements. Others have disappeared. Others, like me, have been driven into exile without passports. Your brother has repeatedly taken to social media to boast about people in his basement. Many of these Ugandans committed no greater offence than criticising, opposing or challenging the government controlled by your family. Uganda has accumulated political prisoners, torture victims, exiles and disappeared citizens while your family continues accumulating titles. The country accumulates wounds while the First Family accumulates honorifics.
And what goes through your Christian conscience when you look at Kizza Besigye? This is the man who served as your father's personal doctor during the bush war. He used his medical knowledge to nurse your father. Now look at him. Whatever political quarrel your father has with this honorable man, what does Christianity tell his Bishop daughter when she sees a former physician of her father reduced to this condition in the custody of her father's criminal government? There is something grotesquely circular about a revolution whose doctor eventually becomes the prisoner of the patient he once treated.
That is what makes your consecration interesting beyond the church ceremony. Unless the Bishop's title has landed on a head unwilling to understand its moral burden, just as military stars can sometimes land on shoulders without importing the wisdom supposedly accompanying them, there is something magnificently absurd about producing a great General and a great Bishop from the same presidential household while the republic beneath them groans.
Your father is President. Your brother is a General and commander of the army. You are now a Bishop. Your mother has occupied high public office, including the Ministry of Education, although sometimes it is the politicians who appear most urgently in need of an education. Between the presidency, the military, Cabinet and now the pulpit, your family has accumulated enough jurisdiction to govern the living, command the armed, educate the ignorant and negotiate directly with heaven yet beneath this magnificent family curriculum vitae sits another Uganda, populated by political prisoners, torture victims, exiles, disappeared citizens, people living with HIV, corruption, malingering public servants and collapsing institutions. At some point, one is entitled to ask what all these splendid titles are for if nobody possessing them can confront wrongdoing within the household closest to power. A republic cannot survive indefinitely on the curious arrangement whereby one family collects offices while everybody else collects grievances.
A Bishop should recognise evil even when it shares her surname. Indeed, that may be the real examination attached to your new title. It is easy to preach against Satan when Satan is an abstraction conveniently residing somewhere outside the family compound. Any preacher can cast demons out of strangers. The serious test begins when the demons know your childhood nickname.
The crozier, then, cannot merely become a beautifully carved accessory for photographs while the shepherd averts her eyes from wounded members of the flock. If your episcopal office means anything beyond vestments, ceremony and another impressive family title, use its moral authority where moral courage will cost you something.
Congratulations again, Bishop Patience. You have the title, the mitre and the crozier. Begin the exorcism at home.

Dr. Kizza Besigye and Hajji Obeid Lutale did not instruct their legal team to step down. Not for a single second. Any attempt to frame this withdrawal as a strategic boycott or client-directed delay is a pathetic lie, and we are shutting it down immediately.
Look at the facts before you dare rewrite them. The state dismantled the defense by pure force. Lead counsel Martha Karua was violently deported and banned. Erias Lukwago was arrested and thrown behind bars.
Eron Kiiza was hunted into exile. Judge Emmanuel Baguma presided over a courtroom stripped of basic law and choked by hostility. The lawyers did not abandon their clients. They refused to sit in a rigged venue and dignify a shameless sham.
Under the Advocates Regulations, attorneys step away when a process becomes fundamentally unconstitutional, illegal, and toxic to their sworn ethical duties. That is precisely what happened here. The clients gave no order. The advocates acted on their own authority because the systemic machinery of justice had completely collapsed beneath them.
This line in the sand is drawn permanently. If the court or prosecution thinks it can twist this calculated exit into "want of prosecution" or an abuse of process to force state-appointed puppets onto the accused, think again. Preserving this truth protects the unyielding constitutional right to a fair hearing under Article 28. The defense did not surrender.
The system made honest representation impossible. Do not test our resolve on this matter, and do not attempt to alter this record again. The truth stands, and it will be defended fiercely.
I’m deeply touched by the situation of these young souls. Whenever I return from work, they come to my place just to welcome me with their innocent smiles. ❤️
They lost their father and are living with their single mother, who has no job or stable income. Life is really hard……
