Ethereum is the dark horse of this cycle.
Here’s what most people miss:
Bitcoin = digital gold. Gold is a ~$30T asset. There’s no structural reason BTC can’t command a third of that and push toward a $10T valuation.
But Ethereum is the misunderstood asymmetry.
Bears swear it can’t break $6K.
Bulls cautiously float $10K.
And nobody can paint a clear vision on just how big it can get. Well... maybe Tom Lee of maybe Larry Fink.
The truth?
If ETH is the new Wall Street and it can capture even a fraction of global settlement, consumer rails, L2 activity, stablecoins, and tokenized assets… a $10K ETH in 2026 emerges as a baseline, not a moonshot.
This is a Global Economic Reset.
Trump and Bessent are orchestrating a grand economic reordering on US terms.
And investors are scrambling to adapt.
This is not the time to be a deer in headlights.
The investors who adapt quickly to the changing reality will be the biggest winners.
Those who cling to the ideas that worked during globalization will watch their gains disappear.
No one alive today has invested through:
- A bursting global sovereign debt bubble
- The rise of AI and Robotics
- Rapid deglobalization
All of it points to currency devaluations and major headwinds for businesses that need to rapidly adjust supply chains and cope with more expensive inputs.
I still see a lot of people in denial.
They think this whole thing is just a negotiation tactic rather than a true economic reordering.
But the Trump admin is telling you in clear terms that the status quo is over.
And denial will not change that. It's time to adapt.
The market is already showing you where things are headed.
Returns since Trump's election:
Bitcoin: +26%
Gold: +13%
Long-term Treasuries: +3%
S&P500: -5.6%
Nasdaq: -7.7%
Why are Bitcoin and Gold outperforming?
It's imperative that you know the answer to this question.
Scarce, neutral assets like Bitcoin and Gold make the most sense in a world of currency devaluations and major frictions for equities.
The equities that make up the majority of the average portfolio were priced for an efficient and globalized world.
Blindly buying equity indexes is no longer the smartest play.
And if you've been paying attention, you will have heard Trump, Bessent, Lutnick, Larry Fink, and many other make positive statements about Bitcoin.
They've hinted at Bitcoin heading towards $1 million per coin and potentially replacing the dollar globally.
What do they know?
Well, if the US is done buying from foreign countries, that means fewer dollars flowing abroad, which means countries will no longer be saving their surpluses in US treasuries.
Instead they'll save in neutral assets like Bitcoin and gold.
And this is already happening.
As hard as it will be for some to believe, there's a better chance than ever that Bitcoin plays a central role in this grand economic reordering going forward.
If your portfolio is full of equities and zero Bitcoin, it's time to think very hard about your asset allocation.
Because Bitcoin isn't here to take part.
It's here to take over.
Barry Silbert made a big splash last week, by betting big on decentralized AI. Yuma, his new subsidiary at DCG, develops #Bittensor ecosystems. And what makes my $TAO gem $MASA so cool is that it's one of the first subnets incubated by Yuma & DCG. $TAO dominance is inevitable. $MASA is one of the most promising projects in the $TAO ecosystem with strong institutional backing.
Nobody talks about the #Bitcoin existential crisis.
If you hodl long enough, you'll eventually start to add your annual salary to your net worth in a month.
Then you add it in a day.
And then in a single hourly candle.
By that point your relationship to your work and money has changed forever.
If you don't love what you do, you start to seriously question how you use your time.
And even if you do enjoy your work, you start questioning whether it's really the best use of your finite time.
At that point many people do what they always dreamed of: They tell their boss to shove it!
But then what?
Humans are not meant to be idle.
You may think the goal is to have no work or responsibility, but that will leave you feeling empty.
And so will endless consumption without creation to balance it out.
This is why so many entrepreneurs fall into a deep depression shortly after they sell their business for millions.
They buy the car, the house, and take the vacations they always dreamed of...
But they don't feel as fulfilled as they thought they would.
And even though they were stressed out when running their business, they jump right back into a new one because business stress is better than the depression that comes with not having a reason to get up in the morning.
Nobody talks about this because it seems like such a luxury problem to have.
But many of you will experience this.
And there are things you can do now to make the transition easier:
- Find creative pursuits that you enjoy. Things that put you into a flow state, challenge you, and give you the feeling of progress.
- Build a family that you want to spend time with.
- Find hobbies that keep you in the moment. Trail running, skiing, surfing, tennis, motocross, whatever
- Consider setting up a little side business or charity that you would pursue even if money weren't an issue.
The goal is to have things that challenge you, give you the chance to make progress, and give you a feeling of satisfaction when you lay your head on the pillow at night.
I'm aware that none of this is ground-breaking advice.
But the worst case scenario is that Bitcoin gives you the freedom you always wanted, but instead of being ready to take advantage of it, you're blindsided by an existential crisis and fall into depression or drugs.
If Bitcoin goes where we all think it's going, you'll be glad that you built an enriching life ahead of time so you can transition gracefully.
ETFs are buying...
Institutions are buying...
Who the hell is selling?
2024 brought a mass of commentators looking at ETFs flows, as if that's all that matters.
What matters is total demand and supply.
Here's a 101 thread on how the modern #Bitcoin market works.
JUST IN: 🇨🇳 The biggest bank in the world, $6.2T Industrial and Commercial Bank of China says:
"Bitcoin > Gold > USD"
ICBC has written 3 notes to investors about #Bitcoin in 3 months.
Some Highlights:
- Bitcoin has unique cross-border transfer and payment functions.
- Bitcoin may benefit from the end of the USD rate cycle and the debt crisis in marginal countries.
- Bitcoin retains the scarcity similar to gold through mathematical consensus, while solving its problem of being difficult to divide, difficult to identify authenticity, and inconvenient to carry"

$MSTR being added to the S&P 500, if their market cap continues increasing, reveals the end game very clearly.
#Bitcoin is going to be a part of virtually everyone’s portfolio whether they know it or not.
