@BezantResources (AIM #BZT) has commenced commercial production at its Hope & Gorob copper-gold project, marking the company’s transition from mine development into revenue-generating operations.
The mine and processing plant construction were completed ahead of schedule and within budget, with commercial concentrate production now underway. Initial throughput for October is targeted at a minimum of 9,000 tonnes per month, with first saleable concentrate expected in late October 2026. @ColinBirdMining

BREAKING NEWS
DEUTSCHE BANK IS WARNING COPPER COULD JUMP 50% TO HIT $10 A POUND
Boom.
It is only a matter of time before the mainstream catches on to the deficit problem.
@BezantResources Hope & Gorob copper gold project in Namibia is no longer mainly a planning exercise, with construction, mining and plant work now underway. #BZT increased its project interest from 70% to 90% in March and raised £2.07 million to help fund the acquisition, mine development and plant improvements. By that stage, first copper gold concentrate was already being targeted for the second half of 2026. @ColinBirdMining

Copper is up 20% in 2026 and trades less than 2% below its all-time high.
Global mine output fell 1.1% in the first half, raising the possibility of the first annual decline since 2017, Sprott says. Disruptions at Grasberg and Kamoa-Kakula removed an estimated 600,000 tonnes of expected 2026 production.
Output at Escondida, the world's largest copper mine, slumped 22% in July.
Sprott says the supply response will be gradual. Copper projects take about 17.5 years on average to move from discovery to production.
The volume of copper discovered since 2000 remains below the total discovered during the 1990s alone.
We have found the copper at Lion.
The palladium, the platinum, the gold and the silver are all sitting in there with it.
We have not found the nickel.
That is not a complaint. It is a clue.
In a magmatic sulphide system the molten sulphide cools in a set order. The nickel rich material crystallises first. What is left behind gets progressively richer in copper, platinum, palladium, gold and silver, and that leftover liquid is the mobile one. It travels furthest from where it started.
Lion looks like the material that travelled. Copper and precious metals, with only minor nickel and cobalt, and the highest palladium grades sitting inside massive copper sulphide.
Which leaves a fair question. If Lion is what moved, where is what stayed?
We do not know yet. It should be somewhere in that system. We have not found it.
The long section in yesterday's release shows the other half of this. Our model runs from surface to about 600 metres vertical depth and stops. It stops because that is where the drilling in the estimate stopped.
Underneath it there is a geophysical conductor plate. We have put holes into that ground since the April cut off date, at 765 and 890 metres, and they intersected visible copper. Assays are pending.
I am not going to tell you what those holes will return, because I do not know. But we like what we see 😎
Five rigs are turning. Assays on Lion Deep are expected by the end of September.
Steve Witkoff in Ukraine:
We came to see Putin first; we needed to hear where he stood.
We had good concrete conversations with him, which we advised Zelensky about.
We are confident that there will be a good resolution here.
You won’t see many photographs like this, if any at all.
If you doubt your investment based on the share price and market volatility ….. never doubt the progress going on behind the scenes.

$GGP has welcomed its first @WesTrac_Cat machine at the Company’s 100% owned Telfer Gold-Copper Mine. To learn more about the arrival of the new @CatMining 6060 Hydraulic Mining Shovel, read the story below.
The situation is quite unique with @PowerMetRes positioned with an extensive resource portfolio acquired & enhanced over ~4 years. At a time many other companies are fearful of spending & quality UK held resource interests are limited #POW has the portfolio in place.
