@tomfgoodwin I 100% agree AB refines from within an array of predefined possibilities. However to state that seeing the fallibility of ab testing is beyond our imagination is a stretch. That is almost an unarguable โgod does not play diceโ line of persuasion.
@tomfgoodwin I understand your point but surely Amazon have AB tested this. I grant that this would have most likely been optimised towards conversion not experiential enjoyment of the purchase moment but debating this then depends on the definition of โworthโ.
@baekdal I'm a similar vain, we did a comparison a year ago for our companies China domain looking at Server side vs Baidu Analytics vs Google Analytics. The variances due to Server side measurement, Baidu (which doesnt auto-filter clickfraud bots) and GA were staggering!
