@oldernewbs@ConnerKacperski Agreed. Members of the committee would have known and probably the person who wrote the statement knew. It should be a life ban for Clicky Ponting, not just ‘foreseeable future’ for starters.
@MikeA_Sport@X You and me both, Mike. The platform has gone so far downhill since becoming X that I gave serious consideration to not starting a new account.
@MikeA_Sport Yes. My account was renamed ElonMuskncg, promoting crypto then retweeting nonsense, was then suspended, and has now disappeared completely. @X have not responded to any attempts of communication, and don't care. I only had 1500 followers so I can't see that they got much from me.
@PeterDellaPenna Where are these umpires to be found? Most umpires are former players who are too old to play at the standard that they used to, and are trying to give something back to the game.
@BumbleCricket Do you really think that bringing in a new format, rather than rebranding the Blast, is a good thing? If it does bring new supporters in, six ball overs will confuse them when they move on to club, county or international cricket.🏏
@CharlesJSturge@WG_RumblePants I have witnessed some pretty awful behaviour at one day cricket, often due to excessive alcohol intake. Football gets the biggest crowds so it’s magnified there, but it’s a societal problem.
@dodgyllama If England had a famous cricketer called Ricky, then he would have probably been used here. Aussies are triggered so easily. Whinge on champ.
