@andrewjwalker11 Scottish football is quite like the good old days. There isn’t the money there to have changed it much bar Celtic and Rangers.
Nice chatting to you but need to get some sleep. Youngest has a 9am kick off tomorrow!
@andrewjwalker11 Close with ground, it’s Firhill. Fir Park is Motherwell. If you haven’t seen him you should look up our mascot. Stuff of nightmares for kids!
Huddersfield is one of the grounds I haven’t been to. Done most of the Yorkshire clubs when I was at uni in Loughborough.
@andrewjwalker11 He was quick. Before I started going to Bristol City, West Ham was the club I liked. Loved the John Lyall era with Parkes, Lampard, Bonds, Brooking etc. Only started supporting Partick Thistle here as I didn’t want to get involved with the whole Celtic and Rangers rivalry.
@andrewjwalker11@thebowlerhatman I was there. Liverpool fans were class that night towards us. Think Souness got the sack soon after. That purple and green away kit became quite iconic for us. Who’s your team?
@andrewjwalker11@thebowlerhatman They were. Then they got relegated 3 seasons running and nearly went bust. Have a lot of good memories of working our way back up the leagues. Don’t see them much nowadays as moved to Glasgow.

@_JC1971 Just think that as it’s a quarter final and a chance of more money from a Hampden semi final we should try and maximise any advantage we can on the playing side. I get the finance argument but would love to see an ambitious approach.
@_JC1971 Average of 4900 home fans for playoffs for matches broadcast on BBC. Option 2 means around a 1000 less home supporters and being outnumbered by away fans. Surely a majority of home support gives the best chance for the team to progress.
