Last night, MPs from all parties came together to mark National Kindness Week (Feb. 15–21) and to share our thoughts with those affected by the tragedies in Tumbler Ridge and Kitigan Zibi.
We also paid tribute to the late Hon. Kirsty Duncan, in the spirit of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
Thank you—especially to MPs Linda Lapointe, Yasir Naqvi, Shelby Kramp-Neuman, Marilyn Gladu, and Andréanne Larouche for your kind words.

“While Pierre Poilievre has said Canada will never be the 51st state, it’s unclear to me if his party is more loyal to this country or to the American manosphere.” https://t.co/qLfOPv3CKN
Allegiance premieres today on CBC/CBC Gem. First time producing my own episode, which was an incredible experience. I've been fortunate to only work with excellent showrunners in my career but all I can say is Mark Ellis and Stephanie Morgenstern are the best of the best.
The truth we find is not in stone or in parchment anymore, it’s in the way we live, in kindness that we show.there’s no secret to Heaven , just what’s in your heart. Let love be your compass, let kindness be your art.✌️&❤️ Tom J.
The episode of Allegiance I wrote is now on CBC Gem. You can watch it for free. I cannot say enough good things about the writers who helped break it, the showrunners who protected and improved it, the actors who elevated it, and the producers who let an ACAB shirt into it.
Mark Ellis and Stephanie Morgenstern are the husband and wife showrunner team behind such hits as Flashpoint, X Company and Transplant. Their latest is the new CBC police drama #Allegiance. Mark guests this week on https://t.co/C8GPFbKXKF: the podcast. https://t.co/3YuO1N4yab
