It’s a mystery! Maybe movies emerge straight from the directing of directors or the acting of actors. Or maybe an actual document of words first needs to be painstakingly created by a writer, that is used to gather and inspire other talented folks so that a movie can get made…

I’m still at a loss for words for how powerful and emotional this show was. It’s the first time I haven’t felt the ‘periodness’ of a Chekhov play. This masterful adaptation is somehow both timeless and timely. And heartbreakingly HILARIOUS. Huge congrats to all artists involved!
