Big baseball fan, Nats and Yankees are my favorite teams. Love LSU Football and SU basketball. NY Giants are my NFL team. I enjoy food, hiking and camping.
The #Commanders now have the 6th highest paid Defense in the NFL. Big year 3 for Dan Quinn. A defensive minded coach simply cannot have a bad defense again. #RaiseHail
The San Francisco Giants have scored 30 runs over their last 2 games, their most in a 2-game span since 1944 👏
Before the last 2 days, the Giants ranked 29th in scoring (3.8). They've now moved up to 21st (4.2).
Was this sweep at the hands of the Marlins a three-game blip, or cause for greater concern? “Our confidence is not getting torn down just cause of one series.” https://t.co/CRNyaY7b7z

Final: Marlins 4, Nats 1. After a rousing May that ended with three straight series wins over contenders, the Nationals were swept by Miami to fall back under .500. Day off tomorrow, then their first West Coast trip of the season (at AZ/SF).
I get that he’s probably over-performing and that they don’t have an opening for a RHH at 1st or 3rd.
But at some point completely dominating AAA for months (as a former Top-50 pick who was a standout in the ACC) has to mean something. We are getting to that point.
Dylan Crews just threw a seed to the plate to keep the Marlins from scoring an insurance run. Perfect, strong throw from CF.
He does so many little things well. Winning player.
Jorbit Vivas is 13-for-68 over his last 30 games.
That's a .191 batting average and a .550 OPS for a guy who has a below average fielding run value and 37th percentile speed.
The Marlins rank 28th in the majors in homers.
They've gone back-to-back-to-back off Miles Mikolas to take a 4-0 lead at Nats Park. They've got 52 HR all season and 6 of them have come in the last 14 INN of play in this series. Tough time for them to find their power stroke.
