Here is a list of powers Liberal Bill C34 proposes to give to cabinet and a new regulator over what content Canadians can see and interact with online.
Cabinet will be able to designate new categories of regulated online services without Parliamentary debate.

Through the magic of television, I had a similar "Strong Alberta Within a United Canada" conversation with @DavidWCochrane down the street on Power & Politics at virtually the same time!
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Canadians aren’t “technically” hungry, “technically” unemployed, or “technically” homeless.
Carney’s Liberal recession has real costs, and Canadians are the ones paying the price.

It’s insane that this needs to be “a law”. It’s high school. Every kid should have access to sport if they want it.
Nearly every sport is becoming “pay to play” and we are limiting options for high calibre athletes because life is becoming unaffordable for a minority of people.
Access to sport, especially team sports, provides skills for kids that extend far beyond the field/arena and sets them up for life after their playing days are done.
People will say “But in the US, it’s different. Boosters make it impossible for poorer programs to be competitive.”
This isn’t that. It’s literally one person giving rides, buying groceries, and paying for therapy for kids who can’t afford it. It’s one person being a great person and helping those in his community. This shouldn’t be a reason for a suspension.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the “Teddy Bridgewater Act” into law on Friday, per @AP, meaning high school coaches in the state will now be able to use their own money to help their players with expenses such as food, transportation, physical therapy and rehabilitation services.
Congrats on a HOF career, Biggie! Gonna miss seeing you on the gridiron. Enjoy retirement. Hope to see you involved in the game someday somehow soon. @Bighill44
We have signed Adam Bighill to a one-day contract so he can officially retire as a Winnipeg Blue Bomber.
Congrats, and thanks for everything, Adam.

Gene Principe shared an awesome story on the broadcast about how Connor Ingram paid Jeff Lang, Oilers Head Equipment Manager, for a new stick after breaking his after Monday night.

REPORTER: "If somebody enters a home and they are unarmed, a homeowner fears they are armed and then shoots and kills the person... would this... be reasonable?"
MP @LarryBrockMP: "I reject... the premise of that question. A lot of people conceal weapons when they enter a home."
It’s absolutely unfathomable how little scrutiny Canada’s national media is giving the Carney Liberal government, while offering megaphones to partisan Liberal insiders to declare their feelings about their literal political opponent.
Where are the blaring headlines about Canada’s record debt, self-inflicted housing and food crises, increasing serious crime rate, and broken immigration system?
If we’re going to talk about political machinations, where are the dogged reporters asking MPs who have joined the Liberals about the conversations they’ve had, and with whom, in advance of crossing?
Who’s asking the newest Liberal MP why he took the last three months off?! Or if he actually lives in BC or Alberta? These are all important and fair questions that are in the public interest and are, quite simply, not being pursued by almost anyone in the mainstream media.
Relentlessly asking Liberals what they think of Conservatives is not the journalism Canada needs at this crucial moment in time.
