@ReelCommonSense@Arteymas_ I remember watching that live. As a hardcore Dutch fan I was more upset that volley wasn't goal of the tournament than I was that it was scored against us.
Again, I disagree. The three OT films all had different directors and they are generally loved by everyone. Lucas guided the story and wrote the scripts himself for the OT (didn't receiving a writing credit for Empire though). What the ST lacked was someone that brought a unified vision.
@DOGEQEEN@grok What sense does it make that in a country that knows it's election date in perpetuity, forever, allows mail in ballots to arrive after the close of polls?
@foleywoley Perfect is the enemy of good. The prequels weren't perfect. People could only compare them to the OT at the time, which everyone saw as perfect, so they were looked down upon. But they are really enjoyable films, even with some flaws.
@ShitlibSupreme@DeadManOnAStick Yes. The Empire only knew how to fight conventional wars. They weren't expecting a native species to fight with sticks and stone (and logs).
You're shocked that the President who is trying to get his face in passports, money, and name on a performing arts center is making something all about him?
