I'm Mark Spreitzer, proud to represent Wisconsin's 15th State Senate District.
When I'm not at the Capitol, you'll find me in Beloit with my husband, Philip, in the garden or baking. I believe public service is about showing up, listening, and delivering results!
Philip and I had a great time at the Rock County Dairy Breakfast, hosted by the Rock County Dairy Promotion Council and Brandl Dairy Farm! This is always a great way to celebrate the first weekend of Dairy Month and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
It was great to see the Democratic Party of Rock County and many of my fellow elected officials and candidates, including @AnnRoeWi, @brienne_brown, @DylanForWI, @MBermanWI, @peterforwi, Rodolfo Abarca, Jim White, and Pat Fleming!
I’m running for re-election to take on the difficult, complicated issues others won’t. As your State Senator, I will work to find common ground where I can, and to stand strong for the people and communities I represent when it’s right.
Last week, I turned in over 1,000 signatures to officially get my name on the ballot for re-election!
I am proud of the work we have done together to move our state forward, but I know that there is much more to be done.
We will hold big tech companies accountable by regulating data centers, stopping rising utility rates, & protecting our air & water. We have to prepare for a future shaped by AI & other new technologies, & we need legislators ready to meet this moment & protect our communities.
We had a great turnout at my Campaign Kickoff Fundraiser in Beloit last night! Thanks to everyone who came out or donated. @brienne_brown took home my strawberry-rhubarb pie from the silent auction, and everyone enjoyed my deviled eggs, rhubarb bars, and @philipg608's focaccia.
Honored to join our community today in remembering the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Thank you to all who have served, and to the families whose sacrifices are carried long after the uniforms are put away.
WI GOP claims those hurting the most get relief—but seniors on fixed incomes & low-income folks get no rebate check. How is that relief?
Then when our state has a $2.9 billion deficit next year, the programs that help them like BadgerCare, SNAP etc, will be at risk.
In the wake of the massive 20% victory for Chris Taylor in the Supreme Court race last week, Republicans just lost their incumbent GOP Senator that was running in their only flip opportunity this year.
They know change is coming in Wisconsin in November.
Folks, lawmakers have a chance next week to do the right thing and ban partisan gerrymandering.
We cannot accept no as an answer. Call and write your lawmakers and urge them to ban map rigging in Wisconsin once and for all.
Democrats have been advocating for this bill for YEARS and after pulling every lever they could on the final day of the session, *that's when GOP leadership caved*.
I don't doubt that many Republicans do genuinely want this bill to pass. It had 70+ sponsors and passed 32-1 in the Senate, after all. But none of that broke through to Vos until Neubauer and Dems tied these two bills to every other bill. They went absolutely all-out and should be commended for it.
It's a gargantuan political victory for Greta Neubauer and Assembly Democrats.

Wisconsin’s leaders should be lifting up our public universities, not holding them back. UW–Platteville students and faculty are leading the way, and they deserve every bit of support we can give.

Democrat Trevor Jung announces his bid for state Senate during an event in Racine as Dems push to retake control of the Senate in 2026: “We send our money to Madison, we play by the rules … but what comes back? Less for our schools. Less for our neighborhoods…”
