Virtually all the exits to Britain's motorway service stations look this. What's wrong with us in this country? No other west European countries are as run-down, filthy and littered as Britain... we need to turn the tide of decline. Pride and respect should never go out of fashion.
What's really upsetting about this amazing site, Temple Way /Rattlechain Pool, it that it's not protected and will certainly be built on in the next few years. Apart from the rare Small Blue butterfly, there are lots of other rare species here. And it's seething with bees
Why are #Essex County Council & #Braintree District Council reverting to cutting rural roadside verges twice a yr instead of once in late summer - to allow wildflowers to bloom, seed & support bees and insects ?
Why are they spending more public money on having less nature ?
Help! Homes England and Keepmoat homes are trying to destroy a designated nature conservation site with Barbastelle bats, bluebells, ancient hedgerows and veteran trees. Cllrs refused the application but it comes back next week and officers are trying to push for approval. 🙏
