Knights used an early 16-2 run over the last 6 to mins of the 1Q to take control of the game at 16-6 at the end of 1Q; Knights extended their lead out to 29-15 by halftime using a solid halfcourt man defense to stymie Sonora’s offense; Knights broke open the game in the early 4Q when they extended the lead to 20 at 43-23 then salted the game away from there; Jake Vander Veen scored 20 points including his 1,000 career point scored when he stole a pass & went in for an uncontested layup; SG Mason Tameling knocked down 3 3FG’s for 12 points; Amos Cady chipper in w/ 10 points & Walker Postma blocked 4 shots plus grabbed 8 boards; Knights win a big TVL matchup against a previously unbeaten league foe; this victory pulls the Knights into a 3-way tie for 1st place in the TVL at 5-1 & 16-5 overall

🚨2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣-2️⃣5️⃣ HOME 🏀 OPENER ALERT🚨

On Tuesday 11/26 our @RCKnights boys 🏀 program opens up its 2024-25 regular season with the home opener inside the Ripon Christian Gymnasium‼️

All 3 levels will compete on Tuesday night by hosting Sierra HS of Manteca. The Freshman squad led by coaches Joey Vander Schaaf & Grant Terpstra start the action at 4:30pm, the Junior Varsity team led by Kris Klein tip off next at 6:00pm, and the Varsity squad led by Mark Hofman & Jason Hofman cap off the night at 7:30pm 👀

There are a few major accomplishments that our Knights 🏀 program are aiming to continue this coming season:
- a 7th straight season of 20 wins or more
- a 5th straight season w/ a share of the Trans Valley League title
- a 3rd straight CIF-SJS title and a 13th CIF-SJS title overall

Another notable item to be aware of this 🏀 season is that coach Mark Hofman is just 20 wins shy of his 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣th career coaching victory‼️

Also a very notable occurrence is that our Knights 🏀 program has been bumped up another full division & will be competing in the CIF-SJS Division 4️⃣ this postseason due to a continued success rule. We are definitely looking forward to this new challenge 💯

@RCKnights 🏀 Game Highlight of the Night‼️

In this highlight 🎥 clip C/O 2024 Jace Beidleman @JaceBeidleman did some serious work on both ends of the 🏀 court late in the game during Friday night’s dramatic homecourt win over rival Ripon HS

The 6’9” power forward Jace swatted his 9️⃣th shot attempt of the night while inside the lane against the player he was defending. Then on the other side of the court Jace caught a beautiful lob 🏀 pass from his teammate Luke Crivello @lukecrivello then threw down a 2 handed jam in emphatic fashion to the delight of the Knights student section. This remarkable series of plays by Jace & his teammates drove the nail in the coffin and catapulted the Knights to a 72-60 victory on their homecourt.

Jace Beidleman finished the night just 1️⃣ block away from a triple-double as he recorded 12 points, 10 rebounds & 9 blocked shots. Jace helped his @RCKnightsBball squad earn a big win to help the Knights improve to 5-1 in TVL & 15-6 overall and forge a 1st place tie at the top of the league standings.

Our Ripon Christian Knights are currently the top ranked boys’ team in the latest @MaxPreps rankings for all @cifsjs Division 5 schools 🏆
