BREAKING: President Trump says illegal alien truck drivers are being taken off America's roads as his administration moves to replace them with American veterans.
"Thank you all for being here as we take action to get illegal alien truck drivers off the American roadways... and replace them with proud American veterans. And it's about time."
BREAKING: "We've already removed more than 24,000 non-English speakers from behind the wheel. We've also forced states to cancel more than 28,000 commercial driver's licenses unlawfully issued to illegal aliens."
President Trump announces an expansion of his program to get non-English speaking truck drivers off American roads, while replacing them with veterans, many of whom already have the experience.
"As we get illegal aliens off the roads today, we're also taking action to replace these unqualified migrant truck drivers with highly qualified American veterans."
The president also said veterans without truck driving experience will be given a "very quick" road to their commercial license, saying they will be trained and taught.
"Any American who has driven a heavy truck for our military will automatically be eligible for a commercial driver's license, and it's good paying jobs too."

President Trump just took a major step to put America's heroes in the driver's seat.
Trump announced the 'Freedom Haulers' initiative, a new program aimed at helping military veterans obtain commercial driver's licenses to replace illegal immigrants behind the wheel.
"The radical left wants more jobs for illegal aliens... The Trump administration wants safer roads and more jobs for the American veteran."
Under the plan, veterans can receive expedited CDL training as DoT cracks down on illegal alien truckers — revoking more than 52,000 licenses that were improperly issued or granted to individuals not proficient in English.
