@alexjmingolla they wouldn't have the physical attributes you associate them with now if they played football from age 5. They are freak athletes now because they needed to be to get to the top of their respective sports. Its not a pre requisite to being a top footballer. Innate skill is.
@bwnoles when you understand the difference between "athletes" that dominate US sports versus the innate ability required to be a top class footballer you'll be closer to figuring it all out
@pokeefe1@harrylottari@marcus_buckland yes, and for any other team it would be given and VAR would not intervene. Based on everything we know about football and what our eyes tell us in real time a ref has to give that in the first instance
@pokeefe1@harrylottari@marcus_buckland the point you're not considering is that in any other game this is given and VAR would not overturn it. The threshold for Tottenham to get anything has been set extremely high.
