Youths in Warri came together for a 5KM Independence Day Run & Rave at P.T.I junction. When they gathered together, they noticed the organizers started sharing “Soft Nigeria” polo shirts bearing Tinubu’s face. It was like a disguised political campaign.

For 4 months I was jobless in Edmonton and every small comment from my wife felt huge. She couldn’t get a job as well till the fifth month. That was in summer of 2024, we were going from one “Oyinbo”church to the other to get groceries just so we can keep body and souls together.

If you are new and you’re in Edmonton, find your way to Salvation Army, they have a welcome package for every new person; Christian or Muslim. They gave me a king size mattress and so many other goodies. They also give groceries once every week to everyone in the community.

Another good church that helps is the Calvary Community Church at Millwoods. Their care closet will give you everything that can last you for months.

The Nigerian churches I went to only gave me a first time comer’s cup; not shading them, but I expected more from them.

No shades, I come in peace ✌️
