This is the doom I predicted a few days ago, coming for Photoshop. A clean-room open-source reimplementation.
No prizes for guessing that they decompiled Photoshop to source code, processed that to some kind of non-code specification language, then fed the spec to an LLM with an instruction to generate Rust.
Adobe just got nuked. And closed source is dead, dead, dead.

FSD NEWS 🇪🇺 Following talks with German regulators, Tesla has offered to drop the "Full Self-Driving" (FSD) label in Europe and rename the software "Tesla Assisted Driving" (TAD) 🔥
The concession directly tackles a major regulatory sticking point: European officials argue that calling it "FSD" is misleading.
Because the system functions strictly as a driver-assist tool rather than a fully autonomous platform, the driver remains 100% legally responsible behind the wheel and must stay alert at all times.
German Transport Minister Steffen Bilger confirmed that Berlin and Tesla reached common ground back in September after hashing out key technical and liability details. Bilger announced he will now actively champion swift, EU-wide approval so drivers across the continent can finally get access.
The negotiations also yielded an interesting compromise: the German Ministry and Tesla agreed that the system can slightly exceed posted speed limits, by up to 10%, to keep traffic flowing naturally.
Ditching the controversial "FSD" name in favor of "Tesla Assisted Driving" shows Tesla is ready to play ball with European regulators to finally secure a green light.
🇪🇺 Our friends at the TCMV just finished talking about FSD (Supervised) approval for the EU.
They talked for 25 minutes and are now enjoying a 1-hour 20-minute lunch.
Next, they will spend longer than the FSD segment to talk about truck fuel consumption.
I hope that lunch was nice.
Nike is now announcing mass layoffs after being removed from the S&P 100…
Their stock is down about 50% this year. About 77% over five years. About 82% off the record high. Roughly $230 billion in market cap erased.
Nike used to inspire young athletes with legends like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and Derek Jeter.
Now they lift up Dylan Mulvaney, Colin Kaepernick, glorify obesity and push anti-American propaganda.
They believed in something, it cost them everything.
Go woke go broke remains undefeated.
We tried to rent a 50-ton crane to lift the statue. The company refused. They said it was too risky because the statue was too heavy for the crane. So we lifted it with our 16-ton crane.
"I think the probability of a good outcome is like 80% likely... only 20% chance of annihilation."
- Elon Musk
So I made a music video that takes you on a tour of both outcomes.
