The Committee is pleased to confirm that the winners of the inaugural PGAO have been entered into the record.
Their work was tidy, their conduct sound, and their persimmon sufficient to the occasion.
A satisfactory accounting.
Thwack.
Phil Trautwein on what he looks for in a recruit:
"I don't think for every single recruit, we're gonna be the highest bidder. So sometimes, kids have to take a chance on me and know that I'm going to develop them and get them to the next level, which is the money they really want, right?"

I really like this contract structure. Sumrall is making around seven million a year and the incentive plan is brilliant. If he reaches the CFP first round or gets a bye he earns one million two hundred fifty thousand. A CFP quarterfinal is two million. A CFP semifinal is three million. A CFP championship appearance is three million seven hundred fifty thousand. Winning the CFP title is five million. SEC championship appearance is two hundred fifty thousand and winning it is one million five hundred thousand. This is the kind of setup that makes a coach give everything he has for the program. #GoGators #Sec
To The Best Fan Base in all of college football…Gator Nation. Y’all showed up for me every snap, every season. Now our players and new HC need that same energy. Let’s show @CoachJonSumrall what the Gator Standard is all about and welcome him into The Swamp. Do what you do best. Support. Rally. Believe. #DoItForTheGraham #TimeToBaughOut #GoGators
LSU needs
- a true Louisiana man with roots in the state
- an offensive mastermind
- a coach with SEC experience
And I think I know a guy that checks all of these boxes.
With the way the last year went, everything Monahan said and did makes it feel like he was leveraging players, fans and everyone's emotions until the PIF's investment got big enough. I'm not saying that's what happened. I'm saying that's how it feels.
Perhaps it was leverage not legacy all along.
It is with a heavy heart that we pay our respects to Doyle Brunson.
Doyle was an inspiration to all and brought so many of us into this game that we love.
Beloved by all, and truly the "Godfather of Poker." Our deepest condolences to the Brunson family.
