The 2027 recruiting trail has been chock-full of blue-chip prospects and touted talents.
And UF's new-look staff has proven they can entice elite-level players.
@CuranAhern, @avadicecca24 and I broke down the commits Florida has landed HERE: https://t.co/7sbokW5uYT
Since January, Florida football has been a hotbed. The Gators have built the No. 3 2027 recruiting class, per 247Sports Composite Rankings.
@maxbernstein23 and @CuranAhern and I have a deeper look at each of the 22 recruits Florida has landed.

BREAKING: Four-star linebacker Ellis McGaskin has committed to Florida, per @Hayesfawcett3.
That's UF's 22nd commitment in the 2027 Class, and yet another blue-chip addition.

It is ridiculous how big an impact Wemby has.
The second he's on the bench, the Spurs can't stop anything. Then he comes in and dominates. Rinse and repeat.
Former Gator standout Vernon Hargreaves has been selected to the 2026 UF Athletic Hall of Fame Class.
Hargreaves was a two-time All-American and a three-time All-SEC selection during his Florida career.

The Rams are the masters of win-win trades. The Stafford/Goff deal won them a ring and helped Detroit usher in a new era of the franchise.
I see a similar fate here. Garrett (who I think is the best player in football) obviously makes the Rams SB favorites.
However, Cleveland just landed a 25-year-old beast with 12 sacks in 34 career games AND draft capital they can use to grab their QB of the future.
Love this move on both sides.
Three former Gators have been placed on the 2027 College Football Hall of Fame Ballot:
DL Alex Brown (1998-2001)
DL Kevin Carter (1991-94)
WR Percy Harvin (2006-08)

Don't think that series went the way anyone saw it going.
Vegas looks just like they did in 2023. Dominating the neutral zone night after night.
Colorado ... yikes. Jared Bednar ... yikes.
WATCH: For example, Jason Williams was seen yelling toward the Florida dugout after Texas Tech hit a home run. At the end of the video, he did the Gator Chomp in mockery of where he once played.
Ugly scene during an incredible series.
We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.
