So far no action taken by @Uber, or compensation for dragging us & our 11 week old baby a ridiculous distance in a car on a hot day. Becoming tempted to name and shame the driver if @UberUK / @UberUKI_Support don’t provide a fair resolution. Other people deserve to be warned

Fun journey tonight. My @UberUK driver picked me up for a journey from near Stansted to central London, asked me to cancel the Uber trip, go to an ATM and pay him the same fare in cash. Refused so he then took a route taking us so far west of London we passed Heathrow Airport!

He then doubled back in the opposite direction to take us east back in to central London to our actual destination, adding a solid 30+ mins to our ETA

@MarcThomas77 @UberUK That’s the best case scenario. Since he wanted to drive us to an ATM rather than take a card there are far worse outcomes that were possible. So far Uber have done nothing about it either

@AmazonHelp Oh, no I mean literally it's been confirmed as delivered in literally the wrong country. One of your customer service people already confirmed it's up there. It's gonna be refunded - I'm just baffled how it's been mishandled that badly

.@AmazonUK achieved a great one today. After failing to deliver my parcel on Monday, they then sent a replacement via @RoyalMail which was delivered today. In Scotland - when I live in southern England.
