@andrew_wang7 Pages getting so many PAs in the last week over Bernal is very annoying, esp since Pages has options.

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@shannonandswift Congrats fellas!

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@CShalby Loved this

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@unikunka The longest OWA in history.

@LosAngeles_Scan Your maps could use a little more street info so we can see cross street names

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@MattNoahSmith It was some kind of auditorium or meeting hall, I think. And to be honest I don’t remember it as a good show. Rainy day, lights on. Dreary.

They also played in Worcester in 1991 and that was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen, by anyone. So maybe my expectations were too high.

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@MattNoahSmith I was at that show!

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@lauren_wilford These are not very imaginative men!

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@VaguelyFunnyDan congrats!!

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@jmjones Insanity for Pham to be getting at bats over Walker or VS2 or *anyone* who will be on the team in '25.

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@JPHill_Cards Pham should not get one more PA. DFA. His spot should go to Walker.

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@Jeff_Erickson I am dumber than you, but Armstrong is gone after the season and Riley O'Brien is (finally) ready for ML action. Need the roster spot.

That said, seems to me it's white flag waving.

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@KareemSSN Who would you send down?

I think I’d DFA Crawford. Donovan is probably as solid a SS as Crawford at this point.

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@unikunka I’m in Pasadena. Sounded like a distant explosion at first. Wild.

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@joshjaco98 and Carpenter?

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@katiejwoo Also, money. Carlson stands to make around $4m in arb next season. No way the Cardinals were going to pay that.

And the league knew it. Mo had no leverage.

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@calebnoble08 Reyes...

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@TortsIllustrtd @NerdsOnTheBat 92 ABs in '24 (+16 BBs). But as you pointed out he crushed LHP in '23 too (85 ABs + 17 BBs).

I too suspect he is Quad-A, but if Herrera needs to be in AAA for defense, might as well call Baker up for the LHP ABs that will never go to Carp.

My 2 cents.

[mark gunn @Mark_Gunnn]

@TortsIllustrtd @NerdsOnTheBat Only 42 MLB PAs vs LHP.

And I suggested he be given a shot. He would only stop an acquisition if he performed.
