Cowboy burger patty (cheddar chez and jalapeños) two slices of pepper jack chez, LTO, ketchup mustard mayo on a brioche bun. #burgerszn
@SleeperMets It would have to be a haul for major league ready prospects. Otherwise there is no point bc the mets will be in need of pitching again next season.
@nickythegood Pretty sure that’s why they didn’t pay him. Let the season play out and it should give the Mets some negotiating room as he will be viewed as a second tier pitcher. However - there are not to many A level pitchers right now
@Ben_Yoel Ben - I am slowly starting to believe this will be looked at an “oh well” type of season. I doubt they trade any big pieces unless the offer is substantial. I could see them keeping Holmes and Peralta
Gary Cohen “back to back hits for the mets with Soto getting on base for the second time and now Austin Slater coming up” you really can’t make that one up. Good grief
@MetsAvenue@NjTank99 No it’s giving another manager a shot (which they have) and see if he can breathe some life into this team. Think about it for a minute. They are one clutch Alonso homer from not making the playoffs for 3 straight years. With this owner and payroll this is unacceptable
@nickythegood Ehh I would say at an even 500. This team struggled mightily last year as well. Bottom line is with the owner and so called top shelf GM - this team shouldn’t be “hoping” to make a wildcard year over year.
