One more thing, as I kid I believed and even went to Sunday school. It’s when you become mature you realise that religion makes no sense and you stop believing in magic. Then you watch your god bestow division, suffering, pain and illness, all in his name. You then come to the realisation that it’s a man made construct to control the masses. Please study the history of religions, how they form and how they function. But you’ll have to remove your blinkers first. I wish you well

He was very intelligent man, I have several of his books, but I believe he questioned the evidence of Jesus on many occasions, and wasn’t convinced. Certainly he wasn’t convinced of any heavenly connection. I’ll have to revisit this. But I stand by my point that there is no conclusive evidence, and the writings suggesting Jesus was a real person came many years after his supposed death. Which questions his existence in the first place

Matt raises a very good point with regard to taxes and the scary figures involved and tries to put into perspective. But only when the details stack up does it get credibility. I can only assume this was a copy / paste, and when doing that, you really should check the content for accuracy, especially with such a huge following
