@architect_acc@Iyervval Nailed it. We are hopelessly bad at finishing this cancer once in for all. Let the bleeding by a thousand cuts stop with our generation.
@TomSoede@SuellaBraverman Slavery was replaced by indentured labor.
Families were separated for life; sent to different corners of the world for no fault of theirs. The practices of the so called Empire was plain inhuman.
@TinyDhillon Sorry. These Islamic countries want to bring Islam into every game. The coach waived the Palestinian flag on the ground.
The Islamists deserve this exit.
@BJP4India@JPNadda When will you get rid of these good for nothing leaders like @JPNadda .
Please highlight 3 things this man has accomplished in his ministry.
Look at the audacity and tone of this dud
@theskindoctor13 BJP wouldn’t introspect until the buffoon @RahulGandhi is around.
We need a good opposition to take @BJP4India and @narendramodi to task.
They know right thinking Indians do not have an alternative.
Ethanol will hurt the BJP electorally, not because of car owners, the are just 8% of the population, but because of bike owners, who make up 60%.
Every issue with a bike, irrespective of whether it's due to ethanol or not, is being blamed on ethanol. Remember that the overwhelming majority of car and bike mechanics are not your voters and, in fact, they hate you and you know why. They are actively telling anyone with any bike issue that it is due to ethanol. Not only does it serve a political purpose, but it is also easy and convincing.
Car and bike dealers are equally happy to lean into this excuse because it completely deflects blame away from the manufacturers and their own service centers. If a part fails prematurely or a vehicle suffers from a chronic engineering defect, blaming ethanol allows dealers to shift the responsibility onto government policy rather than admitting to poor build quality or honoring warranty claims. It gives them a convenient, politically charged scapegoat that customers readily accept, shielding the automotive brands from reputational damage.
It's up to the BJP to smell the coffee. The issue is no longer on Twitter and no longer raised just by English-speaking metro car owners. It has gone to the ground. There is still time to wake up and make corrections.
P.S. I'm not defending ethanol here. It does damage engines and parts. I've been strongly opposing it and will keep doing so. I'm only saying what's happening on the ground. The BJP should do a course correction on ethanol solely because its implementation was wrong and correcting it is only logical. However, since politicians see every controversy from the standpoint of electoral gains and losses, I'm telling them that it will hurt them electorally too.
@KreatelyMedia@MEAIndia@DrSJaishankar These barking dogs are the least of our problems.
There is uncontrolled influx of Bangladeshis and our @MEAIndia is a mute spectator. Giving bombastic statements is one, acting is another.
@PappuChoto@narendramodi Our @PMOIndia is under policy paralysis. Incapable of handling hate on social media and disinformation campaigns that are growing each day.
Lousy @MIB_India
@swamin400 Imagine the scale of wealth that would get added to our country’s treasury if such laws were enacted and action taken against corrupt babus and politicians.
Think white-collar crime, forensic auditing, and government asset forfeiture are modern inventions?
A 13th-century stone inscription from Tamil Nadu proves that the Chola Empire was doing all three—with ruthless efficiency.
Let’s travel back to 1225 CE, during the reign of Chola King Rajaraja III.
At the ancient Satchinathar Temple in Thiruppurambiyam, a massive financial scandal was quietly brewing. The temple's financial system was incredibly sophisticated.
They didn't just lump all their wealth into one treasury; they had highly compartmentalized funds with separate accountants for the main deity, the Goddess (Kamakkottam Nachiyar), and the attendant gods (ashta-parivara devas).
Managing this vast wealth were the Kanakku-kāniyudaiyargal; elite, hereditary temple accountants who held their prestigious jobs by birthright.
Believing they were close to royalty and above the law, they began skimming money off the top, systematically diverting sacred temple funds to pad their own pockets.
But the Chola bureaucratic machine was legendary for a reason. They didn't just blindly trust local authorities to keep honest books. The state ordered a rigorous "companion audit" to investigate the temple's finances.
External auditors painstakingly went through the localized ledgers, matched the accounts, and caught the hereditary accountants red-handed.
The total missing? A staggering 40,000 kāsu (Chola currency).
So, how did medieval Chola justice deal with corrupt white-collar workers?
They didn't just throw them in a dungeon or issue a simple fine. They wanted the state's money back. To do this, the authorities executed a brilliantly ruthless legal mechanism known as the Chandesvara Peruvilai (Sale in the name of Chandesvara).
In Saiva tradition, Lord Chandesvara is the strict, divine manager and chief steward of Shiva's property. Any legal transaction involving temple land, buying, selling, or leasing—was strictly executed in his name.
Using this law, the temple committee essentially executed a divine foreclosure. They legally seized the private, ancestral lands of the corrupt accountants, completely stripped them of their assets, and publicly auctioned the real estate off in the name of Lord Chandesvara.
The result? The stolen 40,000 kāsu was fully restituted back to the temple treasury. The state was made completely whole.
This brilliant piece of epigraphy shows us exactly how advanced ancient India's jurisprudence was.
The justice system prioritized strict financial restitution over mere punitive violence. The message was clear: if you steal from the gods, the state will make sure the gods take your house!

One of the most unique Early Chola temple near Lagudi on the verge of collapse
Many important inscriptions might come to fore if restoration is taken as early as possible
Many visits happened from both state and central authorities in past 6 years but not much action on ground
Hope @ASIGoI will show interest post their visit some years back

From Feb 2019 , I have been following up at all levels of @ASIGoI@MinOfCultureGoI on saving this ancient & Distressed heritage in Lalgudi , Tamil Nadu
Seems we do not have time for Indian Heritage but only for "Global" Heritage
Abd Allah ibn Sa'd (First ex Muslim on earth”
According to historians, he was the main scribe for Muhammad. After noticing linguistic errors in the revelations and the Muhammad making changes as per Ibn Abi sa’d suggestions, he escaped from Madina to Mecca.
He exposed the Quran as a fabrication and not from any God. Then Prophet ordered his killing in retaliation.
It was the first apostate murder in Islam.
@TRobinsonNewEra Same story in India. @NupurSharmaBJP s life is under threat for calling out Islam , Islamists and their hypocrisy.
Different country , same problem.

@archi_tandewal@narendramodi@narendramodi has been an achiever by a mile compared to any of his predecessors.
There are equally a number of inexcusable misses by him especially factoring in the kind of mandates he got in the first 2 terms.
@vikrantgupta73@sports_tak@therealkapildev@ImranKhanPTI No individual is greater than country. Your so called achievements can be thrown in the bin if you feel so bad for the jihadi paki who has spewed venom on your country and Hindus.
Have some shame @therealkapildev
