@cybrtrkguy I wished it had a slightly larger cab/rear bench. I’m a tall guy. With my seat back, the rear bench seems like a sedan. The only reason it works with two car seats is the middle latches!
@Tesla doesn’t get enough credit for how they stand behind their product and the level of customer service they provide. Best friends model x (which they bought used) got a full battery replacement within 3 business days of the issue occurring - fully covered via warranty (plus towing and loaner car which was low hassle to coordinate). Tesla constantly/promptly answers my every question. This customer service used to be normal, but isn’t based on my experience post covid.
Tesla service, customer care, and advisors are 10/10 (specially the Liberty Lake WA location!)
Well: all questions and issues are promptly addressed. E.x my wife was stranded in a model X cause the battery disconnected. Within 15 min, a tow truck was scheduled and loaner car secured. I also love the fact she didn’t have to wait for the tow truck. It made a sucky situation less sucky.
Better: when I picked up my Cyberbeast, it was so dirty. I came to WA via Florida on a truck, and it looked like it. My big pick up day had to include a detailing/washing.
New idea: better transparency about where your delivery actually is vs pickup window. Old OEMs track cars from the factory. Tesla should do something similar. Use Porsche as an example where they geo tag your car
I bought a foundation series cybertruck in June. The only issue I had in the process - delivery date was obfuscated. My order was placed around June 5, the truck was sitting in Florida (shipping to WA). I didn’t get it until around June 28. When I’d call customer support, they had no visibility into whether the truck was shipped or still sitting in Florida and had to give me generic delivery (2-4 weeks ETD) which was the same on the app. Having better visibility into status (not shipped, in transit, etc.) would have been helpful. Towards the end of the month I started getting nervous I’d miss out on the June promo because it said I had to take delivery to qualify.
Overall, still a great experience and I have two siblings who are now Tesla converts because of how amazing the cars are. But this is my critique of the current process.
