@Ruxiiii4 I actually think he suits playing a deeper role but his runs and intelligence off the ball allows Dest and Pulisic to be far more aggressive. Probably the best US side in a World Cup but finishing 2nd gets the best route in the next round!
@yElff_ 100% the biggest skill gap than any other sport. Even down to fitness alone nevermind basic technical ability. As long as you’re an athelete you could forge a career in most sports but ‘soccer’ (football) you get found out within minutes at the top level
@EvertonNewsFeed Nailed on to be the next Jack Harrison, avoid. Clearly wants last big pay day, nowhere consistent enough to take us up a level. We need to stop being obsessed with signing anyone for the sake of signing someone. Plus George twice the player with a higher ceiling
@Aaron_Torres Finished 6th in qualifying but only scored 14 goals in 18 games. Relied heavily on 1-0 wins, can’t adapt to heavy pressing style that European teams and even Poch’s US will bring to the table. Don’t see them winning a single game in the group
@normalus23@theoldzealand Not sure about that, they only scored 14 in 18 in qualifying. Just lucky their defence was reasonably solid. Think they finish rock bottom in the group without a win. Down to US or Turkey now to win the group
@theoldzealand It’s almost just down to mentality at this point, they’re always impressed me everytime I’ve watched them in the last 2 world cups. Want to be on the front foot, just need that first win to set the confidence
@RyanSoccerAA@KieranJ_1979 Always thought he was in the same mould as DCL but far more technical. Just feels like every technician we’ve had over the last 7 years got sold under past regimes
@RyanSoccerAA@KieranJ_1979 Was always obvious there was a future talent there with Chermiti. Needed time and development plan which the club didn’t have for near a decade. Lookman, Vlasic, Deulafeu all examples. Moyes doesn’t know how to develop youth, same old story now with Armstrong, Aznou, Dibling etc
@LJE1885 Same media that push footy is coming home but the first to feast on the anguish the second we get knocked out. Doesn’t happen in any other country
@ant2691995ljr @Evertonclip_ @EvertonNewsFeed@LukeEdwardsTele Yeah he’s been on the right mainly this season tbf, mostly played on the left for us though. I’d like to see him as a 10 being honest
@ant2691995ljr @Evertonclip_ @EvertonNewsFeed@LukeEdwardsTele He’s played more on the left for us overall, only this season he’s played on the right really but back to the left recent games
Chelsea often struggle against mid blocks because we lack someone who can carry the ball through the heart of the pitch.
Ndiaye doesn’t just pass around the block, he drives right through it, forcing defenders out of position.
Bring him home now
