Tonight a friend spoke at an event about Jew hatred and said something that stuck with me. I’ve spent the last three years going to these events, and the same pattern keeps repeating: we talk about what’s being done to us, but rarely what we need to change.
Why have Toronto Jews accepted paying for our own security at schools, synagogues, and businesses? Why aren’t we demanding that our government and police do their jobs?
And we need to stop confusing writing cheques with taking action. We need more lawfare. More pressure on politicians. More accountability. Fewer committees and more results.
When Esti was missing, many people searched. Many more criticized from the sidelines. Imagine how much faster she could have been found if everyone showed up instead of commenting.
Enough. Volunteer. Speak up. Hold organizations accountable. Ask where your donations are going. Demand results.
Stop being compliant. Jews are strong. It’s time we started acting like it.
🇨🇦After Carney appointed Omar Alghabra to a new antisemitism advisory council, Poilievre:
“I remember Mr. Alghabra lobbying me before he was in politics to keep Hezbollah legal, so I’m not sure that he’s the right guy to combat antisemitism.”
I'm seeing a lot of posts about the council on antisemitism that @MarkJCarney announced this week, and I wanted to clarify something.
The Canadian PM, despite making a statement on antisemitism, in which he felt the need to reference transphobia and Islamophobia, did NOT put together a council on antisemitism.
He created the Ministerial Advisory Council on Rights, Equality and Inclusion.
If he was serious about ending Jew-hatred in Canada, he would have made a statement to the country, from Parliament.
If he was serious about ending Jew-hatred in Canada, he would have assembled a Council with the mandate of fighting Jew-hatred in Canada.
If he was serious about ending Jew-hatred in Canada, he would have assembled a Council that did not contain people accused of antisemitic actions.
If he was serious about ending Jew-hatred in Canada, he would have taken action well before now.
He is not serious about ending Jew-hatred in Canada.
And he continues to show us that he's not.
I am calling on the Holy Blossom Temple to apologize to the Jewish community in Canada for providing Prime Minister Mark Carney an opportunity to lie to the Jewish community and appoint Hamas supporters on a committee against antisemitism. It's a complete farce.
I am really pleased to see the NDP, the Greens, civil liberties groups, Tech giants like Apple, Google, and Meta, smaller tech firms like @NordVPN, @windscribecom, @signalapp and law professors like @robertdiab and @mgeist come out with objections to Bill C22.
Every word of my original speech has been validated.
It’s rare to see such unified opposition from every corner of civil society, and every corner of the House of Commons.
🚨🚨 The Immigration Minister admits that over 17,000 people in Canada have been investigated for ties to the IRGC.
She admits they’re here. But she won’t say how many visas have been revoked.
And the Liberals have only deported one.
What the hell is going on? 🚨🚨
Masked cowards paraded an effigy of a Jew being hanged, in downtown Montreal, in broad daylight.
The sickness of antisemitism is here, in our own backyard.
This Liberal government is doing nothing to stop it.
We must stamp this out and make Canada once again a safe home for Jewish people.
Israel produced forensic evidence, videos, and 1000s of photos documenting the sexual violence of Oct 7.
The world stayed silent.
A handful of activists get off a boat making up sexual abuse claims against Israel.
And it becomes headline news.
Make it make sense.
This is your morning reminder that Olivia Chow's unregistered, taxpayer-funded re-election campaign is led by people who founded a group that defends Iran's IRGC, which kills dissidents, gays and women. #topoli
HOLY. Liberals just shut off the cameras AGAIN while discussing what could be the biggest scam in 🇨🇦 history
Everything said behind closed doors will now be sealed from Canadians for 30 YEARS
If there’s nothing to hide
why are they hiding everything?
WOW
Today Liberals voted 6-5 to shut off cameras at the Health Committee.
Conservatives wanted the Auditor General to investigate how $300 million was wasted on PrescribeIT.
The Liberal answer?
Kill the cameras.
Kill the transcripts.
Kill the investigation.
Carney promised he wouldn’t use his majority to shut down investigations.
That promise lasted exactly one week.
What are they hiding?
The path to a Liberal majority in Canada is insanely corrupt:
-SHUT DOWN parliament (prorogue) because you are about to lose. Leverage Jagmeet Singh's pension date to avoid an election.
-Stall until the US election. Leverage the Trump win.
-STILL dont get a majority - so you convince other MPs to betray their constituents for government perks to get you across the line.
This government is totally illegitimate.
A lot of people in these comments are throwing insults for saying Carney wasn't elected.
None of them have pointed out a single fact that's wrong.
So let me be very clear.
I never said it was illegal. I never said that he was the first to become Prime Minister without being an MP.
I said he was “the first Prime Minister in Canadian history to have never been elected to public office”.
And the bigger picture is the part nobody in the comments wants to touch 👇
The Carney government was about to fall.
All three opposition parties — Conservatives, NDP, Bloc — said they'd vote non-confidence.
Conservatives had a 24-point lead 📉
The government was done.
So Trudeau prorogued Parliament. Shut it down. Suspended democracy so the confidence vote couldn't happen.
CBC confirmed it: "the Liberals will avoid a confidence vote."
Then during that suspension, 0.38% of Canadians chose Carney as Liberal leader.
Then Trudeau — the man they had no confidence in — advised the GG to appoint Carney as PM 👑
Same party. Same government. Same Salesman.
You cannot claim he had the confidence of Parliament when they suspended Parliament specifically to avoid testing it.
And since then? He has fooled this country at every turn 👇
📄 Said he'd "axe the tax." Scrapped the one you could see. Kept the hidden one — 7¢/litre. Zero rebates. Industrial carbon tax still climbing to $170/tonne.
📄 Said he'd fix the $390M slush fund. "Replaced" it with a $5B version. Same minister. Bigger budget.
📄 His ethics screen covers 5% of Brookfield. The Ethics Commissioner said under oath his future pay is tied to Brookfield's success.
📄 Said he'd stand up to China. Flew to Beijing. Dropped EV tariffs from 100% to 6.1%. Slave labour imports from Xinjiang grew from $59M to $601M. Canada blocked 2 shipments. The US blocked over 1,000.
📄 Campaigned on 380,000 immigrants. Real number is 765,000+. The UN called the program "a breeding ground for contemporary forms of slavery."
📄 $35.8M in taxpayer money went to companies his wife advises.
📄 Appointed a BlackRock executive to run international trade. BlackRock and Brookfield are co-investors.
📄 5 MPs crossed the floor with no by-elections. 74% of Canadians across ALL parties say that's wrong.
📄 Now he's personally choosing the next Governor General — the person who signs his laws into effect. No vote. No public input.
This is what you're defending.
Read that list again. Slowly.
Then tell me which one is wrong. I'll correct it publicly.
And this is just what fit in one post.
The pinned post on my profile has the full picture. Every thread. Every source. Every dollar traced.
Then come back and tell me why you're still defending him.
Call me what you want. The facts don’t care 🇨🇦

Poilievre is asked "Do you have any comment on the rumors circulating that more floor crossings are imminent? And what do these floor crossings say about the current state of the Conservative Party of Canada?"
Poilievre "Well, I don't comment on rumors, but what I will say is this. Members of Parliament should stand up for the party and the principles that they said they would when they were looking people in the eye in their elections"
"If you ran in an election, you went out and you said to little old ladies, to veterans, to truckers, to single moms, that you were going to stand up for the Conservative platform of affordability, safety and national sovereignty and to do so as part of the Conservative Party that people voted for, then you should respect those people and honor your word."
"Mark Carney is saying is that your vote doesn't count, that he's going to use backroom dirty deals to reverse the election result in countless ridings, robbing people of their voice and giving him the power to raise your cost of living. That is wrong."
"He should respect the democratic will of the Canadian people" @PierrePoilievre@AmazingZoltan
Let’s stop pretending.
Carney has his majority.
Through 5 floor crossings.
The by-elections are just a formality.
Over 100,000 voters, betrayed.
AN UNELECTED MAJORITY,
IN A DEMOCRACY,
IS NOT DEMOCRACY.
