I did not know Oliver Tree very well, we never met and only chatted a couple of times over the years… but when I heard of his passing, I remembered we had just recently chatted.

I stupidly never saw this message until yesterday and never got to respond to this super touching and far too kind message.

This morning, I confronted ICE agents outside an immigration court room to remind them that they are prohibited from arresting anyone who appears as required at immigration court. They didn’t seem to care and arrested a father outside of the courtroom right in front of his wife and two young kids. (1/2)
