@ryanhallyall It would be great if I didn't live in Louisiana where basements aren't a thing...nothing to really prepare other than moving the vehicles underneath the carport. Happy to take suggestions.
@justimportant2 @BarbaraBoxer The problem is much more long standing than any of the politicians currently or recently in office. This is what happens with poor urban planning. Much of California is a fire ecosystem. Don't build a city in a system dependent on fire with very few water sources.
@USPS your customer service center helpline is RIDICULOUS! I've been trying to talk to a person for 10 minutes and the AI is stuck in a crazy loop. I just want to talk to an actual agent.
Recently, I read a book called "Kim Ji-young, Born 1982". It was amazing to see some of the topics of my past research be reflected in and explored via a literary medium. I felt like I could better see the realities of the themes that came up again and again #WomenEmpowerment
@EntergyLA We're having a serious problem with the power in our neighborhood and there is NO ONE I can talk to locally that might be able to fix it. What is going on? I've lost power twice this week, one time the weather was perfect. And it's ALWAYS the same 171 houses.
Hey people who think they have any right to speak on someone else's relationship when you've never even met the people.
Be quiet.
See this too much these days. Shh, let others be happy and aspire to be as happy as they are. ๐
I'm so touched by my husband โค๏ธ He was watching something and said "I think FlyQuest (esports team) is covering Butter..." and they were! He does pay attention when I talk about #BTS

Random thought: I find it interesting that both my husband and I work in academia. We work at different universities in different cities but come home to the same house each night.
