Those were the words shouted from the crowd as October 7 survivor Sabine Taasa spoke about what happened to her family.

Her 17-year-old son was murdered at Zikim Beach. Her husband was killed protecting their two young sons from a grenade.

Disagree with Israel. Protest its government. But shouting “we don’t care” at a grieving mother recounting the murder of her family isn’t compassion or justice, it’s a loss of basic humanity.

A crowd can drown out her voice. It cannot erase the truth.
