Pretty unreal that Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje isn’t draft eligible until 2028. How many 7-footers have this combo of handle, shooting, and fluidity to create separation? I’d say under 15 and he’s one of them. Could become the youngest NPOY winner ever.
Just an absurd week — and he hasn’t been home since June 9. Went to NBPA Camp in VA, USA camp in CO, FIBA World Cup in Turkey, final EYBL stop in Vegas then Peach Jam with no breaks between. And just completely dominated the best competition in the country. Star.
LeBron + Giannis + Bam Can’t Win a Ring!?
TJ Houshmandzadeh Says Miami Still Won’t Be Good Enough to Make It Out of the Eastern Conference:
TJ: “If he goes there, they are not winning. They not winning. LeBron, Giannis, and Bam are not winning a championship. I’ll bet that one.
Acho: “Hold on now…. I love a front court of LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Bam Adebayo. You have length, you have athleticism, you have size, the IQ, the toughness… Bruhh, that’s a squad right there.”
TJ: “But they’re not beating the best teams in the East with those three guys. They’re not beating the Knicks. They’re not beating Philadelphia. They’re not beating the Boston Celtics. I didn’t even get into Cleveland or the Atlanta Hawks, who I think will be an improved team. If he goes to Miami, he ain’t going to chase a championship.”

Chris Haynes:
"Michael Porter Jr's agent...is scheduled to meet with the Brooklyn Nets...towards the tail end of summer league or at the end of summer league to begin dialogue on an extension. If it becomes apparent early on that an extension is not in play, then I do believe the next step will be the Brooklyn Nets and Michael Porter Jr potentially parting ways and potentially looking to move him"
Chris Brockman on the Miami HEAT being a Play-In team even if they added LeBron James:
“So let's say LeBron goes there. Who are they jumping? Philadelphia is a top-six seed. Orlando, by all accounts, underachieved last year and they were the 8th seed. The Pacers are getting Haliburton back, so you've got to assume they're going to be better.
The Wizards—I know they were the worst team last season—but they have Trae Young, Anthony Davis and A.J. Dybantsa, who looks like an absolute superstar through Summer League so far. They're going to be better.
Who is Miami jumping to get into the top six?”
