@eurovisionfanGA @AdrianP_doc Yes and no. Magyar's rally was smaller then pride for sure, more then Orban today. But a lot of Orbán supporters were bussed in (many with EU fund village minivans). Also, me and my friends who go to most protests did not go to this. Magyar's support amongst liberals is pragmatic
@naturmandarin@Daractenus You are saying the exact opposite of your first answer. Transfer traffic flows from the M1 (and partially the M7 in the summer) to the M5 and M3. If you want to alleviate transfer traffic, you need to widen those highways, not build smaller highways to every city and border x-ing
@KonyoQn@Daractenus By the way just a pro tip, next time drive to Salgotarján, the 21 road is 2+2 lanes in large parts now, and pass through Slovakia that way. It's about 200kms less then going through Bratislava and you get some beatiful views of the Tatra mountains on the way
@KonyoQn@Daractenus Traffic from Hungary flow from W and SW(ports) to E SE mostly. There simply is not enough traffic going north to Poland to make building the M2 to the border from Vác. Also that area is a beautiful vacation area for us, an ugly highway should not go through the Danube bend area
@naturmandarin@Daractenus I live here. The major highways, M1 ,M3,M5,M7 have large volumes there the question is why were smaller highways build b4 those, especially the M1 ,was widened to 2x3 lanes. All the other smaller highways should be just an alternating 2+1 setup.
@Daractenus This is the only point that is a bit wrong, Hungary's highway system is overbuilt, and is set to continue to expand for absolutely no reason since there isnt enough traffic to justify 4 lanes. Drive the M6 to Pécs for example and you will sometimes be the only car on the road
@cityaestheticss@MAGApelican If AI is correct this W 4th street and Charles street, looking at the prices it does seem to be a dream place for multi-millionaires
@hyttenhoof@MurfMerfMerf@joakial_ Hungarian here, tax rate is 42% flat (we have an income tax/health contribution ,and social contribution),other countries bundle it into one. VAT is 27%, highest in the world. Large parts shithole, not all yet...
@Kaoruw143@SzabadonMagyar in one way he is, he and his circle want to create a new Ukrainian elite (uprooting the oligarchs of privatization), just like Orbán. In everything else he is different.
@JDeanThomas@SzabadonMagyar When he got elected, it felt like Fidesz getting elected in 2010 in one thing, and only one thing. Elite change, new oligarchs to replace the old ones through corrupt means, and this just confirms it
@JDeanThomas@SzabadonMagyar It will feed the Maga machine with ammo in their propaganda (also here in Hungary Orbán's machine, but fuck that ,I've cut off contact with all Fideszniks). No suprise to me, only admired Zelensky for his foreign PR, excellent and the most needed thing. If it undermines that...
