Today, in Kiawanduma, Mathioya, Murang’a, I met coffee farmers who have carried this crop, and their families, through generations. It is time coffee paid them back with fair prices and support and a Martha Karua government will do just that.

Our host, Addah Nduta, MP aspirant for Mathioya, continues to do incredible work rehabilitating young men struggling with alcoholism and helping them find their footing again.

Coffee restores livelihoods. So does giving our young men a path back. Both are part of the same vision of an economy and a society where no one is written off.

They removed me from the Senate Committee on Roads, Transport & Housing where I champion inclusive transport and mobility, sustainable cities, and accessibility in the built environment for the rights of over 8 million persons with disabilities as provided for in the PWD Act of 2025.

Everyday, I come to this house diligently to do my job, to execute the business of those I was brought here to represent, and I do it well even with a disability.

I am demanding that my spouse Dr @kizzabesigye1 is taken to see his personal doctor at her clinic in Bogolobi NOW. He has collapsed in court and was returned to prison.
His doctor is concerned about his health.
Dr @kizzabesigye1 has insisted NOT to be treated at a govt hospital. He does not trust any institution under the control of @KagutaMuseveni and his son @mkainerugaba
