So what’s the takeaway when Scott Colom inevitably loses by 10+ points or are we just gonna keep playing this silly little game in MS every time CHS runs?
🚨CLOSE RACE: Ken Paxton is projected to be victorious against James Talarico in the Texas Senate election.
Texas - 2026 Senate (odds)
🟥Ken Paxton 54.3%
🟦James Talarico 45.7%
Projected Margin: 🟥R+0.8
Paxton, the state's attorney general, defeated incumbent senator John Cornyn in the Republican primary runoff by large margins with the endorsement of President Donald Trump.
Democrats have not won a Senate election in Texas since 1988. Similar to Ted Cruz in 2018, Texas's status as a red state would still give the victorious edge to Paxton, despite his personal controversies.

In Florida's Tampa-based CD-14, incumbent Rep @KathyCastorFL has beaten legislator @MBeltranFL by over 5 points. This district was Trump +10.5 in 2024, part of the GOP gerrymander earlier this year. This represents an over 15-point shift to Democrats.

What Michigan would look like if Mike Rogers is elected:
🚫 National Abortion Ban
📈 Skyrocketing health care costs
💰Tax breaks for the top 1%
⚒️No support for Michigan manufacturing
Friends, I want to thank you for your support in this race. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you who stepped up to fight for a stronger Michigan. Now, it’s time to come together to make sure we beat Mike Rogers and keep Michigan blue. Let's go win!
I mapped the 1968 D.C. Presidential Election by precinct. Nixon won a few precincts on the north west west side of D.C. and in general did best in the areas Goldwater also did best in.
Ennn...
I mapped the 1964 D.C. Presidential Election by precinct. Goldwater didn't win a single precinct but he came close to in precinct 1 where he got 46% of the vote.
