@New_Newco_Demon @TheWarOnCars @London_Cycling@KingstonCycling @markandcharlie @cyclegaz We need to be tolerant, thoughtful and patient to protect the most vulnerable. Infrastructure is badly needed but won't happen overnight. It's often poorly thought out when put in as an afterthought as well.
@New_Newco_Demon @TheWarOnCars @London_Cycling@KingstonCycling @markandcharlie @cyclegaz The car could easily pull in before the obstructions on it's side if they were looking ahead. A decent driver would have done so. The youngster was too close to the van to anticipate the ineptitude of the oncoming vehicle's driver.

@ianaimp007 @RuthJ_Probation Sometimes it's punishment that gets people to address underlying issues. I agree though that there has to support signposted and encouraged. I also recognise that it can be a bumpy road, the road to recovery.
@rmengland@timkellernyc@LibertyEthics The difference is that it means flawed in our case and is (sometimes) used to avoid self improvement. It also doesn't matter to quite the same extent.
