AKRFC Dr. Leema Rose Martin, Director of the Martin Group and Managing Trustee of the Martin Charitable Trust, the organisation has reached a new milestone in its mission for environmental stewardship. Through a substantial sponsorship of ₹2.7 Crores, the Charitable Trust is now actively supporting a multi-faceted conservation strategy designed to protect the delicate ecological balance of the Western Ghats.

This strategic investment targets five critical pillars of environmental preservation:
* Conservation Infrastructure: Enhancing administrative and management facilities to streamline field operations.
* Biodiversity Protection: Implementing robust anti-poaching measures and advanced surveillance to safeguard indigenous species.
* Conflict Mitigation: Developing proactive human-wildlife conflict management systems to ensure community and animal safety.

On March 9, 2026, these initiatives were formally inaugurated at Ettiyar Estate, situated in one of the highest rainfall zones within Tamil Nadu’s Western Ghats. As a recognised biodiversity hotspot, this region is a vital sanctuary for rare flora and fauna but remains vulnerable to habitat fragmentation and illegal poaching.

Project Update 3: Successful Completion of the 54 km Narayanan-Cauvery Canal Restoration.

Martin Group is pleased to announce the successful completion and dedication of the Narayanan-Cauvery Canal restoration project. This 54 km stretch, spanning the Virudhunagar and Ramanathapuram districts, has been fully renovated and is now officially open for public use.

Through a contribution of ₹50 Lakhs, Martin Group along with the Martin Charitable Trust addressed the critical water crisis in these rural regions. This initiative is designed to provide a sustainable water source for 455 villages, directly benefiting over 5 lakh residents, including farmers, fishermen, and cattle rearers whose livelihoods depend on consistent water access.

Martin Group continued its commitment to women’s empowerment and vocational excellence through a ₹27,00,000 infrastructure project at the Government Industrial Training Institute (Women), Kavundampalayam.

Martin Group Partners with Indo Swiss Centre of Excellence to Establish ₹4 Crore Advanced Auditorium in Pune.

Martin Group Partners with Youth For People NGO to Enhance Student Mobility in Maharashtra.

At Martin Group, we believe that mobility is a key driver of education and empowerment. In a significant step toward supporting rural students, the Martin Charitable Trust recently collaborated with the Youth For People NGO to donate 140 bicycles, with a total project outlay of ₹4.08 Lakhs.

The distribution event took place on Sunday, 15th February 2026, in the Palghar District of Maharashtra. This initiative aims to ease the daily commute for students, ensuring they have consistent access to their educational institutions.

Project Charles: Martin Group and Rotary International Bolster Healthcare Infrastructure in Puducherry.

At Martin Group, we are deeply committed to enhancing access to critical medical services through our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. In a significant collaboration with Rotary International, we are proud to announce the successful donation of 14 advanced dialysis machines, valued at ₹1.25 Crore, to three prominent healthcare institutions in Puducherry.

The distribution of these life-saving units was carried out on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, as follows:
* Kidney Center Hospital: 7 machines
* Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS): 4 machines
* Cluny Hospital: 3 machines

The donation ceremony was led by Mr. Jose Charles Martin, Managing Director of Martin Group, and Dr. Leema Rose Martin, Director of Martin Group. This initiative, titled "Project Charles”, reflects our shared vision of providing high-quality renal care to those in need and strengthening the region’s medical capacity.
