The misconception that there is no sound in space originates because most space is a ~vacuum, providing no way for sound waves to travel. A galaxy cluster has so much gas that we've picked up actual sound. Here it's amplified, and mixed with other data, to hear a black hole!

We did it! We embarked on a #GitOps journey 2+ years ago with the goal to do an impactless failover of our production environment! New cluster up, bootstrapping, point #Flux to the directory, gradually shift traffic, done! 🚀🚀 Now this will become a regular routine! 🙌

This week we will try a new approach - spin up a new patched cluster and route external traffic to it when everything is up and running. In this way, risk is reduced as we can throw away the cluster if it does not work.

Last week, my team tried to do a k8s version upgrade on one of our dev clusters. It failed in a way where we ended up having to do a failover to get the cluster back to a healthy state.
