@elonmusk@TheZvi@grok is it true Tesla has no safety team?
If so, and following Conway's law, where do you draw the line between what's infra for everyone and what's delegated to teams? For example, couldn't a similar argument be made to compliance teams in finance?
@EYakoby@grok please clear up this thread by stating how many Pakinstani live in Denmark, their share of population and their TFR. Then, for good order's sake, repeat that exercise for all Muslim minorities and provide a 30 year projection on the demography
@rubenhassid Your premise that AI should be optimized for what workers desire, rather than for being maximally truth seeking (~useful), is flawed.
It's that Henry Ford dilemma all over: had he asked what people wanted, they'd say better saddles and harnesses. Thank God he didn't listen.
@bryan_johnson I see an incorrect graph. Life expectancy in 10000 BCE was not 10 years, but closer to 30.
Doesn't invalidate the point I imagine you're trying to make - just pointing this out as it may help you make it.
@stephsmithio 95% of your result is already determined by the decisions you made in the weeks and months past. So just enjoy it. Soak in the atmosphere, high five people on the way, cheer on those who struggle alongside you.
@MattWalshBlog While TFR is clearly a significant societal problem, what evidence do you have that financial incentives are impactful? Consider for example that sub-Saharan Africa is by far the most fertile. In OECD countries, religion and family values seem to be the main drivers.
Judging from the fact that almost all top fertility rate countries are in sub-Saharan Africa, it looks like low age and dependency on kids for survival are main drivers. In OECD countries where those conditions are not met, top countries are religious and focus on family.
But yes, it's a multivariate problem.
