@ScillDuncan@stuey_beef What? Like the last tory government that kept changing PMs. They didn't need a General election every time they changed PM. Why do you suddenly change? One rule for one another for the rest. We're not like US where you elect the leader. We elect the party who has the most MPs
@ShepherdWales My apologies your are indeed correct. It was David Cameron I was thinking of who became Baron Cameron of Chipping Norton and became secretary of state for Foreign Commonwealth and Development Affairs.
My apologies for the confusion
@ShepherdWales Did you struggle when non MP Jeremy Hunt was given a peerage and catapulted to be chancellor of the exchequer? Of course not that's perfectly understandable after all he is a true blue tory so it's allowed
@brexitblog_info I'd like to remind you that under the previous tory government taxation went up to its highest level since the war. Also national debt went up from under 50% of GDP under labour to 100% of GDP
@Labourheartland You're missing the point. Private companies are run to make profits for shareholders not for the benefit of the public. That's why we have shit in our waterways their not interested in the service they provide just making money. Money saved paying shareholders get reinvested
@musidorus@Labourheartland That's probably about the amount shareholders took out the previous years. They also had to pay record fines for pollution which wouldn't have helped their profits.
@TheParaInvestor And you're point is?? They deserve to be well paid for what we ask of them unlike certain MPs who really turn up and are never seen in Clacton.
@stuey_beef Where were you the previous 14 of tory government - asleep? The last incumbent was elected by MPs only because they couldn't even afford to pay the postage any more after the previous debacles
@stuey_beef Here we go again. There's not details or costings but everybody on X knows the full details. Based on what exactly? Your just scaremongering or bullshiting. Wait until we have actual details then you can whinge as much as you like
@TheLaikYobaz Wages make up a lot of costs. Hungarians get paid a lot less the we do so it's a big saving in costs. Also they don't have employment or safety laws like we do.
@TomK_Brit1993 Given ยฃ5m by a crypto billionaire and promotes it. Crypto is untraceable so if a Russian for example gave ยฃ5m to Harborne first there's no way of knowing. Is that why he promotes it?
@SimonFoxWriter Your not a reform member you are a shareholder because it is a PLC not a political party. In a political party you get to vote on leaders policy etc. Reform are owned by Farage who has majority of shares so can't be outvoted. Basically it's a dictatorship what Nige says goes
@EwenDCameron It's not playing in their home stadium that's the problem here it's the altitude. It gives a massive advantage to Mexico. It can take 3 weeks to properly climatise to it not 3 days
@LoftusSteve What about the tens of billions paid to shareholders and fatcat CEOs? Private companies run for shareholders to profit not to provide the best possible service hence shit in rivers. Wouldn't want shareholders to pay to clean it up would you?
