@ziobrando In a way this does not only apply to beautiful code, but inner quality as such, in particular when achieved in a single iteration. You eat your food alone and it remains undervalued, because almost nobody will ever know what would have happened without the built-in quality.

The annoying paradox about beautiful code is that it’s never in the spotlight: bad code forces us to see it over and over, but the good gems often hide in the small pieces that just work and don’t need to be touched. Like preparing gourmet food and eating alone.
