@fiona_mugure Agree - circular economy is what we should aim towards.
Would suggest that many people in the past didn't survived - mother/child/baby mortality rates, and larger numbers lost to violence.
Nor did they all thrive - viruses, plagues, etc.
Many homes very mud/straw, no toilets!

I think ultimately there is no finishing line, and indeed we are not pursuing or running, except as inventions of the mind.
Accepting this - and it's hard to do so - we are freed from all those questions, and life becomes easy and calm.

Poetry is dead. The best selling novel sells a million copies. The best selling book of poetry sells 10,000. Maybe. Not even poets read poetry.

But poetry keeps me alive, keeps me fishing for dreams, keeps me warm in winter!

I’ll be reading it in the grave and later.

@johnguzlowski @BaitTheLines I'm just back from Menorca and swam in the sea a couple of mornings and in the evening, as other times were simple too hot.
It was so invigorating to be able to swim without worrying about bumping into others or the edge as one fears if swimming in a pool.
